Satyanarayana Tota and His Definition of Growth

Learning is a lifelong process and this is the only thing that helps a person growing. Talking of this quote, the story of Satyanarayana fits perfectly in this situation. He began his journey from the Indian Institute of Technology and has reached Genentech now. Let’s review it on detail!

Satyanarayana Tota has his roots from Khammam, India and currently he resides with his family in Sunnyvale, California. He began his career from Siebel Systems as a Lead Software Engineer. While working there for more than five years, he was involved in the development of an (STA) Siebel Test Automation interface for applications of Siebel eBusiness.

After applying his insights into the growth and development of Siebel Systems, he joined Genentech. For 11 years when he served the firm as Lead Test Automation Engineer, he was responsible for making test automation solutions and infrastructure. 

He played a crucial role in developing a strong test automation framework and has applied Test Automation in CSV projects and validation. He has built and used RPA projects too. Adding to the list, he has also worked with open source tools and has actively participated in using Selenium, Maven, UFT, TestNG, Jenkins, and JUnit.

Consistent work like this allowed him to serve the company at a new position of Service Now Integration Architect. Working at this post, he is actively involved in Test automation implementation with Service Now ATF. He has used designed and advanced custom REST and SOAP APIs for Service Now modules.

Under this position, he is working with ITSM Process Architect, Business Analysts, IT Architect, and other technical teams to ensure the needs over application integrations are applied in a predictive and controlled manner.  

Talking of his mastery, he has earned great experience in implementations of lead automation projects and the design and evolution of test automation frameworks. He has become an expert in Selenium, UFT, Maven, Jenkins, TestNG, ALM, soapUI, and a lot more.

Exceptionally talented, Satyanarayana Tota with his journey has become a perfect example of how the continuous efforts can help in growth a person. His journey teaches us that every person can flourish with the right guidance and zeal to flourish.
